Does it feel like your worries and fears prevent you from living the life you want to live? Do you find it difficult to be present because you are either worrying about the future or ruminating about the past?  If you want to learn how to move forward when you feel stuck in your head, you have come to the right place, and I am so excited that you are here. I help clients ditch worry, rumination, and unhelpful habits for a more mindful, motivated, and compassionate way of being.

My approach is founded on principles from mindfulness-based and compassion-based cognitive behavioral therapies (CFT, ACT, and DBT). We’ll work together to create the tools you need to manage stress and difficult emotions. Through our work, you’ll explore what’s most important to you and use your new tools to create a life of freedom, growth, and meaning.

I work with clients who struggle with anxiety and mood. I’m a Health at Every Size-aligned therapist and help clients with body image concerns to accept and love their bodies and practice intuitive eating. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you!

There are points in our lives that offer unique opportunities for change and growth. Often these moments are accompanied by painful emotions such as fear, worry, anger, or sadness. This is particularly true in today’s trying times where our familiar routines and usual sources of coping have been disrupted. However, it is precisely this “suffering” which if witnessed, held, and explored in a compassionate and honest manner can fuel true personal growth. If you find yourself struggling, then it may the right time to begin the work of improving your wellbeing.

While my overall approach to therapy is guided by contemporary psychodynamic principles, I work in a flexible and individualized manner, incorporating elements of CBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation and coping skills practice, all in the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. Together we can look at what maintains current difficulties, while simultaneously trying to understand the contributions of past experience, and how our thoughts and actions often impede our desired change. My goal is to meet you where you are, while guiding you toward change through insight, acceptance, and new experiences and behavior.

Having experienced my own immigration and cultural adjustment to the US, I am very aware of the role of  culture in the lives of my clients. I have worked with culturally diverse adults, adolescents, and children across various settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and college counseling centers. I strive to maintain an ongoing curiosity and safe space as relates to the impact of culture on each individual’s personal development and history. As a former practicing attorney, I also understand the challenges of high-stress occupations and the difficulty of attempting to maintain a work-life balance, which often leaves us feeling overwhelmed.

If you feel ready to take the first steps toward working through personal struggles and work toward self-improvement, please reach out.

I am a compassionate and warm therapist with experience supporting folks struggling with anxiety, trauma, gender, sexuality, depression, stress management, relationship crises and more. With the constant uncertainty and oppression that so many people face in today’s world, it can be difficult to feel safe in your body and continue to grow in your self and relationships. I help clients build more tolerance to manage these experiences, thoughts and feelings, and to challenge the avoidance that may be exacerbating symptoms of depression, trauma and anxiety.
I use an integrated, trauma-informed approach and draw from Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and TF-CBT. I am sex/kink positive, support the Health at Every Size (HAES) model, and specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I commend you for that! You are the expert on your life and body, I can help support you in that, and provide another perspective to welcome meaningful change. I bring a deep sense of warmth, compassion, empathy, humor, and collaboration to every session, and hope that I can be a good fit for you.

Some people describe looking for a therapist to be like shopping for shoes- there’s no one size fits all! Part of what I love so much about my role is that this sentiment really is true, that there is no one formula to match all people. It is my goal to see the full you and to provide what you uniquely need as the dynamic human that you are. I honor your personal values, past experiences and place in the world. Above all, I prioritize a feeling of relational safety, and I don’t subscribe to the idea that therapy needs to be uncomfortable or overwhelming; I care about your limits and boundaries and I trust your intuition.

I have a special interest in supporting people in mourning and grief, to find life that exists within loss. This includes grief not only related to death and dying, but also complicated grief, transition of identity or position in life, change in relationships, and the many ways we might feel loss from what or who is significant to us.

Inspired by my work as an artist, I see my approach as though a mosaic. I consider psychodynamic and relational models alongside somatic and mindfulness-based CBTs, to find the best fit for you. I can help you find meaning in your life to increase your feelings of peace and vitality. You are worth this expansion, and I’d be honored to join you!

Do you feel disconnected from your authentic self? Are you having trouble being in the present moment? Do you find it difficult to stay grounded and responsive to your changing needs?

It can be overwhelming to articulate or even know what is best for us in general and certainly during times of transition, stress, and/or crisis. Knowing what the next best right action for you when you’re uncertain or unsteady can feel elusive and terrifying.

I believe that you have everything you need to to succeed; I am here to help you access it. I work to guide clients in validating their experiences and expressing their feelings safely without victimization. Through personalized insight and psychoeducation, we work as a team in developing tools of self-regulation to empower and (re)establish a feeling of security and trust within the body and mind so you can feel confident in your next steps.

As a Pilates instructor in addition to being a social worker, I have substantial experience and understanding of the mind-body connection and how daily life, stress, trauma and injury impacts both. During our session we will focus on mindfully staying connected to the body during big emotions or sensations, strengthen executive functioning skills, and develop your authentic voice while working towards your goals.

My approach is holistic, strengths based and mindfully driven, based in trauma-informed somatic work. I draw from the evidence-based practices of ACT, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy and positive psychology to promote empowerment. I work with individuals across the age span, (adults, teens, preteens, and children) as well as couples and families. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and partner with you on your pursuit of discovery and self-care.

Are you and your partner finding yourself in the same fight over and over again? Do you feel stuck, and like you are speaking different languages? It is common for couples to get stuck in negative cycles of communication and I am here to help. I have studied and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and have seen its incredible impact on couples. In therapy, I will help you and your partner understand your negative cycles of communication and instead of turning away from each other, learn to turn toward each other for support and connection. We will work on both healing your relationship and healing for each member of the couple individually. If you and your partner are looking for help communicating clearly and connecting in a meaningful way, I’d love to help you do that.

I am also trained in sex therapy and can help both individual clients or couples work on concerns related to sex and intimacy. As an individual therapist, I work with individuals to grow and change by bringing awareness to their emotions and relationship patterns. I practice compassion-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. As a former dancer and a yoga and meditation instructor, I enjoy working with your somatic experience and healing trauma held in the body.

If my approach resonates with you, please reach out. I’d love to hear from you.

What do you want out of life? What is it that fuels you and provides you with joy? When struggling with anxiety, depression, addictive behaviors or self-criticism, a life of meaning can seem out of reach. We are disconnected from that which we truly want and desire. It becomes hard to find motivation and even harder to remain motivated. Fear, doubt, and dread can overwhelm our sense of self. Even if we have some idea of what we want, we feel stymied from moving forward and creating a fuller and richer life for ourselves. If you are feeling stuck, I want to help you connect and reclaim your passion for life.

In our work together, we will use tools from ACT and mindfulness-based CBT therapies to cultivate self-understanding, acceptance, and self-compassion. As you learn to accept your full humanity and embrace who you are, life will take on new meaning, meaning that can get you through unsettling times and help you accomplish seemingly insurmountable tasks.

I believe that anyone who embarks on the therapeutic process can learn to move forward mindfully and with a new sense of gratitude. Congratulations for taking the first step to strengthen yourself and heal! If my approach resonates with you, please be in touch. I wish you all the best on your journey of growth and inner peace.

Have you been struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship/family issues? Has it felt like you’ve tried everything, but your usual ways just aren’t working anymore? If you want help working through the stressors that life brings, you have come to the right place. My approach is first founded on empathy and building a mutual, non-judgmental understanding of the patterns in your life that are contributing to your distress. From there, therapy is tailored based on your individual needs, goals, and preferences.
While I operate from a primarily psychodynamic background, I have experience integrating a variety of mindfulness and skills-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches, such as Internal Family Systems.
If you’re feeling ready to take the first steps towards creating lasting and meaningful change, please reach out. I look forward to connecting!

Sometimes it feels impossible to get out of our own heads, as though worries, fears, and stressors are taking over your life. Or maybe you feel like it’s difficult to understand and accept yourself. No matter your struggles or stressors, I am so glad you’re here. You have already taken the first step! Therapy is built on trust, connection, and empathy. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a space that works for them, utilizing compassion-based cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT and ACT), as well as components of dialectical behavior therapy, to help clients tolerate difficult emotions, gain insight into their experiences and symptoms, and reduce negative thoughts. Through our work together, we will explore your values and motivations, create a “tool-belt” of skills to get through difficult times, and see how compassion can lead to growth.
Though I work with all sorts of clients, I am also a Health at Every Size aligned therapist, having a special interest in healing an individual’s relationship with food and their body. I operate from an anti-diet, intuitive eating approach, and love helping people unlearn diet culture’s rules.
If you’re feeling ready to make a lasting change in a warm, safe (and even sometimes fun) space, please reach out. I can’t wait to meet you!

Embarking on a journey toward healing and purpose can be equally hopeful and daunting. Maybe you have experienced trauma that is currently resurfacing in disruptive ways. Or, you have challenges with engaging in fulfilling relationships. Perhaps you’re starting to realize that your familiar coping strategies have become obsolete over time. Whatever the hurdle is, I’m glad you’re here. I work with folks who have granted themselves the permission and grace to explore issues related to their emotional distress, intersecting identities, complex trauma, maladaptive relational patterns, addictive behaviors, and self-acceptance.
I utilize an eclectic approach that is holistic, trauma-focused, and tailored to each client’s needs. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and pull from psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, DBT, and narrative approaches. I meet my clients where they’re at to set realistic and accessible goals through compassionate self-exploration.
I work with my clients to form collaborative partnerships that center their goals and values. I seek to facilitate healing and affirm clients of marginalized identities including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and disabled folks. I am here to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space to work through shame and empower you to try newer, aligned ways of living.

I practice therapy from a non-pathologizing, strengths-based approach that seeks to contextualize your experience within the interconnected social, familial, and personal systems you’re a part of. Although we can’t stop the inevitable changes and suffering that life often brings, we can change how we relate to these things and even find meaning in that process. Ultimately, I believe that each person has the capacity to translate their individual growth into systemic growth, and developing skills and awareness toward this process is central to my therapeutic practice.

Drawing from my previous career in improvised music, I am interested in creatively exploring issues such as perfectionism, anxiety, low self-esteem/worth, gender roles/socialization, and creating purpose. My approach to therapy is rooted in mindfulness and curiosity, and informed by relational-cultural, feminist, and identity affirming perspectives.

I work from a client-focused perspective that regards you as the expert of your life, combining both reflection and direction, and employing ACT, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic-based approaches. Please contact me for a free consultation if you’d like to talk and see if I’m the right fit for you!

I am committed to providing trauma-informed and compassionate therapy to clients of diverse identities through an anti-racist, queer-affirming, and feminist lens. I believe that healing takes place both individually and within the community. We are not islands. We are porous, interdependent, and impacted by the systems surrounding us. Suffering is inherent to life, and we will never be able to obliterate pain from our experiences. But together, we can cultivate resilience and the capacity to hold those difficult feelings until they inevitably shift.

I believe self-compassion and somatic awareness should be therapy’s central focus. You are here, and that means you have survived. Even the most painful patterns are survival strategies. Once we’ve softened resistance around those strategies, we can work together to, over time, find new, safer, and more expansive ways of being in the world.

I work from an integrated, trauma-informed lens using a variety of modalities, including IFS, ACT, CBT, mindfulness-based therapy, and somatic therapies. The most important question is not “what is wrong with you?” but “what has happened to you, and how did you survive it?” I look forward to connecting with you!
