Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): PTSD can develop after a traumatic event and is characterized by recurrent, intrusive recollections of the event, avoidance of reminders of the trauma, and hyperarousal symptoms such as irritability and difficulty sleeping.

Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD): C-PTSD can occur in individuals who have experienced prolonged, repeated trauma, such as childhood abuse or domestic violence. It includes symptoms similar to PTSD but can also involve some extra difficulties.

Adjustment Disorder: This disorder often arises in response to a life stressor or change, such as a job loss or the end of a relationship. Symptoms include distress that is out of proportion to what would be expected or significant problems in social relationships or at work or school.

Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD): This disorder occurs in children who have experienced insufficient care and have not developed a healthy emotional attachment to their caregivers. Symptoms include withdrawal, avoidance of comfort, and social and emotional disturbances.

Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder (DSED): DSED is another disorder that affects children who have experienced inadequate care. It is characterized by overly familiar or inappropriate behavior with relative strangers.
